editing ASCX pages in Contribute 3
Ok, Macromedia claims C3 can open ASCX pages by default. This does not
appear to be the case, however. "Cannot edit this type of file" or some
such message.
I noticed an old and closed discussion thread bringing this up, but
with no resolution.
Has anyone figured out a fix for this, or an easy workaround??? Help!

Re: editing ASCX pages in Contribute 3
OK! I'm going to answer my own question:
There is a file called "ccExtensions.txt" in the Configuration folder.
If you add "ASCX" to that file, and you restart C3, it will allow you
to open the files and edit them.
No where on the interweb have I seen reference to "ccExtensions.txt",
only "Extensions.txt" and "ExtensionsEdit.txt" and "Extensions.txt".
Way to go Macromedia, er, Adobe. You stink. There is no excuse for
this.
