editing drop down box
I create all pages in Dreamweaver and looking to let users edit a site with
Contribute, but when a page is set to EDIT, the drop down box appears but can
not be edited.
Is there a way around this or is it just not possible to edit?

What do you mean by "drop down box". If you're refering to a <select> element
on a form then no, you can't edit the options in the drop-down in Contribute.
You can sort of see why, but I'd agree it would be useful to be able to allow
some simple form editing - like adding extra <option>s to a <select> box etc...
