Default Editing existing fill attributes of an object

I use Freehand MX 2004 and I cant figure out how to edit the existing fill of
an object. In the Objects window there is only an option to add a fill. When u
click on it it puts the objects fill back to black which is the default fill.
Could anyone help me out here. How on Earth do u edit the exisitng fill of an
    object?

Default Re: Editing existing fill attributes of an object

In the object inspector, select the fill rather than the object. then
you will be able to edit it.

    You will see something like:
    Rectangle
    Stroke: Basic 1pt
    Fill: Basic

    Click on "Fill"
