Default Editing Images in Acrobat 7.0.8 Professional

I am in prepress environment and I constantly adjust color images embedded in PDF documents received from advertisers. I use Photoshop to edit images: the problem is the images in PDF documents shift positions after they are saved (command+s) from Photoshop.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks.

For me Photoshop 9.0.1, eliminated the bug of images shifting. When you open Photoshop, do you see version 9.0.1 on the splash screen?

    Dear Steve:

I take back the post #4. I did try on a different machine and it worked as you sail. Update 9.0.1 would fix the problem. Thank you for your expertise.
