Default Editing pop-up menu in Dreamweaver

I'm new to Dreamweaver and just created my first web page with it. I created a
pop-up menu in Fireworks and it works great. When I go to make a small edit in
Dreamweaver, I do what I am supposed to do (Go to Behaviors, double click Show
Pop-up Menu), but the Content Box is empty. I don't want to start from scratch,
I just need to edit what is already contained in the pop-ups. Am I doing
anything obviously wrong? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm sorry to tell you that what you are doing wrong is using those pop-up
menus. They are loads of trouble and should have never been included in an
    otherwise fine product.
