Editing spry menu in Contribute - Macromedia Contribute General Discussion

I am updating a website for a client using Dreamweaver CS4. They wanted a drop-down menu so I created one using the spry menu widget. Now the client wants to be able to edit the menu content in the future using Contribute CS4 and does not want to buy Dreamweaver. I can access the top level of the menu in Contribute, but I cannot figure out how to edit the secondary menu layer in Contribute. Is it possible to edit this or will they be required to use Dreamweaver if they want to edit the spry content? Any advice is ...

One way to create an updatable menu by means of Contribute is to use a CSS and
or unobtrusive javascript list-style menu (ul/li) in a SSI (f.i. PHP include).
This way you can provide your Contribute users with a link to the PHP-include,
that is just containing a unordered list, that they can edit in Edit-mode in
Contribute. Check this site http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/index.html for
ideas, or use the Project 7 solution f.i. make sure the include file is in the
root of your site, because of the way Contribute (except maybe in version CS4)
handles the created hyperlinks in the unordered list.
