Editing text in columns
If I have 20 or so lines of text with some tabs in two or more columns, what
might be the reason that I can?t edit a specific line of text (or word) in the
second column? In all other columns it works fine, just in the second one
something forces the cursor up in the first line.

might call it a finger exercise program. It's why I've pretty much given
up on using columns (that and some other funky behavior where text
"jumps" columns and refuses to go sit back in the column it is supposed
to be in.) You can do what I do and use linked text boxes. They seem to
behave better than columns.

Re: Editing text in columns
Can?t agree more! So let?s call it a bug and I can only hope Macromedia does that too. Linked boxes are an obvious option, though have become so used to use columns instead. Thanks for your reply.
