Editing Word docs
I want to edit a Word document with Contribute but when I select the file using
the choose button the file open in a new window. I am able to edit a pdf
because it opens in the Contribute browser window. Is there a way to get the
Word document to open in the Contribute window for editing. I want to replace
the existing file on the server with the edited version. Thanks.

Re: Editing Word docs
Hi, If you are editing a Word doc in the server, Contribute will launch Word
so that you can edit the document. In this example, Contribute cannot edit a
Word doc, so Contribute will pass the file to Microsoft Word for editing.
