Editing Word documents following 2003 Upgrade
When we had Word 2000 and C3, on a web page where I had a link to a Word
document, I was able to have Contribute launch Word 2000 and bring up the word
document for editing. Now, following upgrade to Word 2003, C3 says I can't
edit this type of document.
Is where a way to have C3 recognize the Word 2003 format (if that is what is
causing the problem). Granted I can go into the website using Windows Explorer
to find the Word file, and after making the change I have to go back to C3 and
re-link to the new page. But why can't C3 work with Word 2003 documents just
the same as it did with Word 2000, by launching the Word 2003 program to edit
the Word document?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Editing Word documents following 2003 Upgrade
We just rolled out Word 2003 last week, and now my Contribute users are having the same problem. Please reply if you've found a fix.
Thanks,
Tony
