Editted page never publishes
I'm unable to make changes to my website. I'm able to make changes while in
"edit mode" but when it is published it comes back as the original. Two days of
trying to make a simple change on a website. This is pewrsistent on all pages.
I was able to make one change when I remade my connection profile but that only
lasted one time and I wasn't able to repeat that fortunate chance. The changes
are absent with Contributes browser and also Safari.
Using Mac OS10.4.4, Contribute 3.11
As a side note it would be very productive for Macromedia to monitor these
forums and provide advice and insight to some of these problems.

Re: Editted page never publishes
I'm just curious. Are you publishing your files using WebDav or FTP? We
experience the same error when we connect with WebDAV, but not for FTP. Also,
what happens when you try to create a new page? Regardless of what we name the
file, we get an error that states, "The file name that you entered already
exists. Please enter a different filename."

Re: Editted page never publishes
I have the exact same problem. Whenever I make changes to a page, they are not
published. However, if I go to edit the same page, the changes show up in the
draft. It's driving me nuts. Everytime I want to make a simple change to a
page, I have to copy the whole page and paste it into a newly created page. I
called my hosting company, thinking the problem might be on their end, but they
advised that it was something with Macromedia. They have had customers report
the same problem using Contribute and Dreamweaver. I was using Contribute 2, so
I decided to try out Contribute 3, but it does the same thing, even though it
is newly installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Using Mac 10.3.9,
Contribute 3.11)
