Elements always crashes
I recently installed Elements 2 on a PC with an Intel Celeron 1.8Ghz, processor with 256 Mb RAM. I'm running XP Home.
Nearly everytime I clone, or use one of the filters the system either comes up with a message "Can't complete your task because of a programme error" and locks the programme, or it will immediately crash the PC.
I defrag regularly.
Help please... Mike

Re: Elements always crashes
Try disabling extension. Just put a tilde in front of your plug-ins\extensions folder.

Re: Elements always crashes
Michael,
Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop elements 2\Plug-ins\Extensions and rename the extensions folder to ~extensions. See if that helps. If it doesn't you can just rename it back to the original name.

Rich,
Seems to have helped. If I get the problem back I will return here. Thanks,
