    Default Elements install trouble!!

I'm running XP Pro and can't get Elements 2.0 tryout to install. I keep getting a error 101 stating that it can't find a hard disk location to store temporary files. It asks for at least 3089 KB of space. I have at least 35 gigs available and plenty of virtual memory as well. Any suggestions?

Do you have anything Norton running on your system, especially Norton anti-virus? Try disabling Norton and then maybe using "Safe Mode". Don't ask me for more info, though, because I only speak Win as a second language. Both things I've mentioned have been suggested in the past to people having install problems on Win XP, though. I'm not just making it up! :)

Thanks for your input. I have tried both suggestions, as I read them on the boards also. Neither one worked. I know to install Premier, I had to extract all the files directly to my desktop, then the install program worked. Not with this one though....oh well.
