Some users have email clients installed on their machines and others don't. Those who don't will not be able to use an html email link and some who do will only use plain text email links.
There are many other email quirks limiting the number of people who can effectively use email links.
Instead, try a free form builder. I use http://www.formsmarts.com
I wrote a link to a webpage, then I built email forms quickly for free and just copied and pasted the code into my webpage.
It works great as everyone who had trouble using my link can now use the forms with ease.
