Barbie - Prayers are like junkmail for Jesus
I have seen things you lusers would not believe.
I've seen Sun monitors on fire off the side of the multimedia lab.
I've seen NTU lights glitter in the dark near the Mail Gate.
All these things will be lost in time, like the root partition last week.
Time to die.

Email Client
We are using GW 7 and Contib 3.11. When I select " Send a Connection Key" or
selec an editor to send a draft to, Contribute goes out into la la land and
doesn't come back. Anyone run into similar issues with GW 7 and Contribute
3.11?
Thanks

Re: Email Client
I figured out a work around for this, but if someone could shed some light on
why it worked, great. Here is the process-
For a Windows System-
1. From the browser select- Tools, Internet Options, Programs. Go to email
client and select Outlook Express instead of Groupwise- which would normally be
there if you are running GW.
2. Open Outlook Express and create an account. Fill in your incoming and
outgoing mail server info. Use your GW email, username and password. Connect to
ensure that it it pulling in your mail. Hit cancel when you know that it has
connected.
3. Fire up Contribute , create a draft and send an email notification to a
Contribute User. Select a user and select notify by email. When you do this it
should fire up Outlook. Hit cancel.
4. Go back to the browser and now select GW as you default email client. It
should fire up GW and it should work now.
Where are these settings or hooks being configured to get this to work. We
are just happy it works.
