Email obfuscation extension
I have tried to write my own extension to perform this task in DW8 but it
doesn't seem to work properly, so I tried some of the ones posted on Exchange,
all seem to fail to obfuscate the email address. Some of these extensions have
been around for quite a while and have quite high ratings which suggests that
they have worked wih previous versions. i have a javascript obfuscation routine
that works but for full accessibility I wanted to have the obfuscation hard
coded between <noscript> tags.
any ideas?

Re: Email obfuscation extension
The problem with this seems to be that the encoded text is un-encoded as it is inserted into the document, the characters are being encoded in the &#nnn; form.
Any Ideas?

Re: Email obfuscation extension
do it in code view instead of design view - sorry, long shot here.

cheers for that but I only ever use code view anyway so its not that.
I've found a workaround and HEX encoded the address instead of using decimal
UNICODE encoded text. Not as elegant but it'll do for now.
