Email subscription problem with forums.
I don't know if everybody is having this problem but I have been having some distinct problems with getting enail notification via the subscription option. I am on a Mac G4 running OS X 10.2.8 with Safari. But I have been waiting for some feedback from several PC folk on the Windows forum who were pretty anxious in their post, I have a feeling they may not have been notified.
One behavior is that if you create a new topic or a first time reply to another's post and check the option at the bottom of page, "Subscribe to this discussion by email" and click on "Check Spelling" you will notice that as you review your post/reply the subscription did not take and you will have to go in and make surte that you are subscribed.
Today I discovered several messages that I was subscribed to that I did not get the forwarded email notification despite being subscribed.
I think both of these issues have been going on since the 7th of August. Oddly PlanetPDF's forum is also experiencing email forwarding problems. Maybe its because of a blue moon month or the passing of SuperFreak, Rick james on August 6th.
Today I did get some of my messages.

Re: Email subscription problem with forums.
Odds are you won't receive notification from this group as this is the Adobe Acrobat Macintosh news group.
Its morel likely they would be on the Adobe Acrobat Windows group. If you were trying to get info to or from PC users.

Re: Email subscription problem with forums.
It is better to report forums problems in the Forums Comments and Announcements forum, as you have already done. There is not much to be gained by repeating the same message all over the place, especially if your problem is not specific to a given product.

Re: Email subscription problem with forums.
Well Claudio, maybe some people would see it as helpful warning that a reply might be waiting for them if they didn't know about this problem. The forum moderators have already been informed. Assume the best.
