Default EMBED FLASH (SWF) FILES INTO ACROBAT 6, WINDOWS XP & MAC

Yes, that's what I thought! This is a question I was asked today...Is it possible to embed a flash swf file into Acrobat so that a section or part of the file, when browsed in the Reader, will play? I thought I'd put it to the forum, and any suggestions and directions to web sites with possible plug-ins greatly appreciated. Keep it clean please!

Yes you can embed Flash files but they must be saved in the Quicktime format. Quicktime is the only multimedia format currently supported by Acrobat. This means you would also need it for video and audio.

You can embed *.swf files using the Movie tool, provided that your Flash movies are saved without compression.
