embedded Audio
Hi all, I use DW4, and am wondering how to stream audio that can be heard
across platform.
I know well how to stream Real media, for example, yet many people write to
me and say they dont have real player, and dont want to download one, so how
can they hear my audio?
I sell audio files, and will like to offer each surfer a 2 min sample before
they purchase. What is the best way to do this, and can I embed audio in the
page? If so...how? Or what might be a good way to enure ALL surfers can
play my samples???
Your replies really appreciated!!!
best

be asure that everyone can hear. So why not go for the largest plugin
- Flash. you could create a Flash interface, and get it to load mp3
files. It's reasonably easy to create a sort of mp3 player through
Flash. All your clips could then be in mp3 format. Played through
Flash, the mp3s will stream automatically, without any extra
technology required.
Your email address is a UK address. If you go into WHSmiths, and buy
"The Complete Flash Handbook" at the magazine stand, which contains
tutorials from Computer Arts magazine, you'll find it contains a good
tutorial on making a Flash "Radio Station", which is, I think, what
you are after.
