Embedded periods in user name
Helpful folks,
At what release level does DB2 allow embedded periods in user names?
E.g., john.smith?
We are at v7.2 fp5 on Windows and it does not support this. Our admin
wants to move to a Windows domain scheme that allows this naming
convention.
Does V8 support this capability? Or, even better, do any of the V7
fixpacks higher than 5 support it?
Any feedback greatly appreciated.

This is a known requirement. I can't comment here on when it will be
delivered.
Cheers

Re: Embedded periods in user name
Serge,
You mean, even the most recent V8 fixpack does not address this yet?
Thanks,
Sean
