Default Embedding 3D models in PDFs. How!?

I know it's possible. Just dont know how.

I've gotten as far as exporting my 3D model to a format that Photoshop CS3 can open in a layer.
But when I save as a PDF, the model image is not movable.
I know this is possible but how do you do it?

    Does it require Acrobat 3D?
Cant do that (its PC only, Im on Macs)
I hear there are expensive apps that do it.
Is there a plug in that achieves the same objective?

Default Re: Embedding 3D models in PDFs. How!?

I believe that only Acrobat 3D (Acro 8 ) or Acrobat 9 Extended can create and edit 3D models in PDF. Whereas Acrobat 8 Professional/Acrobat 9 Pro/Reader 8 or 9 can VIEW/ROTATE 3D models. And yes that's Windows only. You'd have to run Windows on an Intel Mac, and buy Acrobat 9 Pro Extended.

    Here's the product matrix diagram for Acrobat 9 Standard/Acrobat 9 Pro/Acrobat 9 Pro Extended:
