    Default Embedding a font

I have a movie that has scrolling tect set up as dynamic text. I am using a special font for the dynamic text and I don't think it's embedding the font automatically. After looking up how to embed fonts, the first thing it says is make the text static, which I can't do because it is scrolled text.

How can I embed the futura font I am using into the file for this text while keeping the text listed as dynamic text?

Any help out there would be greatly appreciated : )

    Default Re: Embedding a font

In the property inspector, when you have dynamic text fields, is a button
called Character... (right below the format button). Go there to embed your
dynamic text. Note that this will significantly increase your swf file size
when published (if it does too much, you might want to consider creating
font symbols and load them dynamically)

    Hope this helps

    Default Re:Embedding a font

One more tip to keep your file size down when embedding a font.

Only embed the characters you will be using, by checking off the box "Only" in the Character Options, and then typing just the characters you will be using. I have shaved off 80% of the filesize by doing this, as I hate using the system fonts. You do not even have to check off the uppercase, lowercase, etc. options, but be sure to include the Uppercase and lowercase version of the letters you will be using.
