embedding a video: which player?
Hello everybody, please apologise if you'll find the same post on all section
of the DW forum, the thing is that I don't know what's the most appropriate for
my issue, which is:
I have to embed a video on a web page.
1)why is WMP not indicated as choice by the Dreamweaver instruction material
(the e-guide and the official Macromedia manual)? They only talk about Quick
Time and Flash Player. Is there any technical reason? I mean, do I risk that
the video does not work properly if I use WMP?
2)Admitting that WMP is ok, is there a way to tell the video not to start
automatically but only when the user press the "play" button?
3)How to get the same by using Quick time?
4)Why to use the Flash player to let the users watch a video? Which advantages
and/or differences comparing to QT (or WMP)?
thank you so very much,
Giuseppe

Re: embedding a video: which player?
An easy way to add a video to your web site/page is to use You Tube or Google Video and use there embeding codes.

Hope this helps.
