    Default Embedding Fonts/Exporting .pdf

    Hi All,

My cv was created in Freehand, when I export it as a .pdf I have to embed the fonts as i use century gothic which is not available on macintosh. My exported file size is 157kb with embeded fonts. I have tried all the usual tricks. Does any one have any idea on how to make the file size smaller..

    thnks

Assuming your CV is all text and no graphics, creating a PostScript file
(with fonts included) from FH then using Distiller with Job Options set to
"Screen" will produce a very small PDF file in my experience.

Century Gothic *is* available for Mac; for example it comes with
Microsoft Word (or used to, as of Office 98 at least).
