Re: embedding MP3
:confused; We can not convert to SWF for our purposes. We are an ad agency
posting mp3 files to our website for distribution to our media partners for
airing. They want mp3... we must give them mp3... I do this all the time with
frontpage but want to move my control to contribute. I dont work in
dreamweaver... I am an update person... not a design person. I just traffic the
info. Can you help me figure out a way to easily get my mp3 files up on my site
without using shockwave.

Re: embedding MP3
Sallydi,
Are you wanting the MP3 files to play when the page is loaded or are you just wanting to have the MP3 files downloadable?

Re: embedding MP3
Yes it is frustrating that Contribute does not offer an option to embed an mp3
file onto a web page. What you can do is use the Insert option and select file
on my computer. Then select the mp3 and publish the page. When a user clicks on
the link the mp3 will open in a browser window and play.
I was hoping that the 3.11 updater was going to give Contribute users that
option. Since mp3s are so popular now Macromedia should offer Contribute users
an option to upload a mp3.
