Embedding the Symbol font in EPS files on the Mac
Help!!! Can anyone out there tell me why FreeHand 10 On the Mac refuses to
embed the font Symbol in an eps file - If you read the resultant PostScript
file you will see that it doesn't. It seems that this only occurs with Symbol
- well, I haven't found another example that behaves this way. This is the
basic Monotype version of Symbol.
Yes, it will print out but it is not embedded in the EPS file. It prints
because it is on the printer.
If you rename the font to something like, 'XSymbol' it will embed but that is
not an option.
