Default Embedding URL in popup ad

I'm trying to figure out how to embed a URL (tracking number/path) in a typical banner ad that will be used in emails. I've tried using the "hot spot" tool for the entire image and specifying a URL (using the pulldown menu Window > URL , but I'm not having any luck "attaching" the resulting image/HTML to an email (using Eudora as a tester). Any advice???
    Thanks!!

Default Re: Embedding URL in popup ad

Select the ad and choose Edit>Insert>Slice. This will turn the ad into a
slice, and you can add the URL in the property inspector.
