    Default EMERGENCY: 500 Null error

    Help me!

While trying to get java classes to load (cftree) I made a change in the CF
Admin tool and restarted the service. Now all I get from ANY cfm page on the
    site is "500 null".

The setting I changed was in the Java settings, and I set a class path to
    c:\cfusionmx\wwwroot\web-inf\cfclasses

Now I can't even get back in to reset it. PLEASE HELP. Macromedia wants $499
to even talk to me. Is there an ini file somewhere in CF where I can change
this setting so it'll run again?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Changes made to the "Java and JVM" settings page in the administrator are
written to the "jvm.config" file in the <cf_root>\runtime\bin directory.
Stopping the ColdFusion MX Service, backing out of the changes made and
restarting ColdFusion MX should resolve the problem.

    Thanks David.

Unfortunately, I had to take action so I've uninstalled and am reinstalling
CF. Drastic yes, but when 100 people are screaming about their applications
    they can't use.... *sigh*

What fascinates me is that the Admin tool allows you to change a setting to a
value that prevents you from running the Admin tool to change it back!!! IMO,
the Admin tool should be totally independant of the stuff you can break while
    trying to get things configure.

    Oh well.

    Hi,

You might have run in a known problem, that I have at least three
    times. See:
