emf confusion
Can anyone tell me what has happened in the settings of Freehand 8 when this
problem occurs:
Whereas FH drawings that were made months ago, and exported as EMF files,
can be imported back into FH and viewed as would be expected, more recent
files of the same type have these defects:
1. No pallette, no color information, no fill, etc.
2. The image extends beyond the left and top edges of the document.
3. The customized document settings are lost; width and height are in the
default portrait format.
Another question, since this is persisting even after reinstalling Freehand:
Is there a file(s) that contains preferences and which is not overwritten
even in a reinstallation?
Thank you very much for comments.

Re: emf confusion
The EMF file format is Windows Enhanced Metafile Format. It is only
available and readable on Windows machines. I'm not sure about this, but I
believe FH exports a file to the OS, and the OS writes the EMF file. Have
you made any recent changes to your OS?
