Emulate a explorer window - ASP.NET Building Controls

How can i display a web page on top of a current web page without having to open a new internet explorer window. For example you have a calendar text control that when the drop down button on the control is clicked a calendar appears without being displayed in its own explorer window. I would like to emulate that function. I would guess its like creating a menu bar. It displays a popup menu when you go over a link. I hope somone understands what i am requesting Thanks ahead of time.......

How about a DIV or an IFrame?

Here is an article I wrote talking about an issue with IE and dropdowns but
it will show you a simple way of doing what you want.
