    Default Emulsion problems (films output)

In Illustrator CS, I can't print a positive film, it is always negative. My rip convert any data to neg/down, so usually (with AI9), I choose emulsion down with negative type so that the result is a pos/up film. I'm having the same problem with AI10, both on mac os 9 and mac os X. How come it works in AI9, but not in AI10 or AICS? I tried every possible combination with my rip setup and AI, but the result is always the same.
