My question to you would be how are you getting the PDFs to your website. What software are you using?

I have not tried a different client. If I knew the Dreamweaver CS3 had problems with FTP somehow changing the document and triggering the error I am trying to work out, I would certainly go for a different client. As it is, the entire web site is managed with Dreamweaver and if I have to use a different FTP client just to upload the forms, that would seem strange. I am looking for a reason and solution for the error. Have you seen it before? Do you know that Dreamweaver has issues with FTP of Acrobat Fill In Forms? I really appreciate your response but I guess I am wondering if you are guessing or is this something you are familiar with? Which FTP client do you suggest? Why would Dreamweaver not work and what is it doing to the file to cause the issue? Thanks again. Chris

I have not gotten the warning message you are getting but something is changing the PDF. I don't know it DW has a problem with PDFs but as a trouble shooting step I'd try another method of getting the PDF to your site.

Try uploading use the lates Interarchy (was Anarchie). Great FTP Client easy to setup and Not too expensive. go to NOLOBE.com and look for it.

To prevent being taken off for advertising or spam. This is what I use to upload PDF's and have no monetary interest in it.

    Chris,

Why not use the DISTRIBUTE FORM option under the forms menu to enable
clients to fill-and-submit (instead of the ENABLE option) ?

Otherwise, are you adding the ARE at the very, very end of the process
    before closing the document?
