encapsulation of session/secure login: looking for perl mod

Hi,

I am learning a little about how to use Apache::Session::MySQL by
playing around with the most simple examples I can come up with.

I was wondering if there is a good module out there that provides a
shell or a framework to build any type of website within that provides
all of the mechanisms for sessions and secure login, hopefully with a
relatively simple interface.
