end of file encountered
I get this error on many psd files backed up on disc, when I try to reopen them. Is there a way to open? What should I do when backing up in the future?

Re: end of file encountered
when you say backed up on disc, do you mean cd-r? Check the file sizes and make sure that they match the original.
You might also copy the files in question to your hard drive and try and open them from there.
If none of those are successful, it sounds like there was an error during recording and not all of the data is on the cd or is not readable.
Make sure the CD is free of scratches, fingerprints, etc. All of these things contribute to read errors.
