Default Enlarging thumbnails by double clicking on photo

I am a photographer who would like to update my website myself. I was told to
buy Macromedia Contribute as it was easy to use. I have the website set up
(joannatrescottphotography.com) and would like to insert new pictures. I have
figured out how to size and insert the photos. However, I am having trouble
figuring out how to link to an enlarged photo when someone double clicks on
the thumbnail. The web site designer originally set it up and wrote html?? to
accomplish that task. Is there an easier way to accomplish this? Any help
    would be greatly appreciated! Joanna

Default Re: Enlarging thumbnails by double clicking on photo

    Two ways to do this:
    1) If you just want the image to be displayed in a new window, without any of
your page design surrounding it, just upload the fullsize image to the site,
and make the thumbnail a link to that image.
    2) If you want your page design around each fullsize image, you'll need to
create a new page in your site with the fullsize image displayed on it, and
then link the thumbnail to that page.

If you're looking for software to do all that for you, see my other posts on
this forum where I've given links to that kind of software (free).
