    My company is looking into using [url]http://http://www.enterprisedb.com[/url] as a
    solution to get out from under the thumb of Oracle, and I was wondering if
    anyone here has had any experience with it.

    I'm especially interested in how it interacts with CFMX.... What had to be
    done to get a connection made? Does it require the Enterprise Server to
    connect? Are there any performance issues versus using the built in Oracle
    connections?

    Any insight or a link to more info would be greatly appreciated. Google
    didn't turn anything up for me.

    not w/it but postgreSQL works plenty fine w/cf. you'll need a postgreSQL JDBC
    driver (should be in d/l). here's a kb article on cf & postgreSQL:
