    Default eps file sent through e-mail

    I have a couple of users (one MAC and one Win)using Illustrator that they send an .eps file through e-mail (using Outlook). When they save and open it with Outlook Web Access (Microsoft web based front-end to Exchange) it will not open using Illustrator. They receive an error. (Also OWA wants to save the .eps program as a .ps file - renaming the file does not correct the problem) When using Outlook to open the sent file, it works fine. I have tested this on a PC with the .eps file using a program called GhostView and have not had this problem opening the file. Any ideas?

    Bert = right.

    A lot of e-mail programs seem to add some garble to attached eps files. You can often get around this by editing the postscript file, but Zipping (or sitting) adds a nice layer of protection to the file, and saves you the effort.
