eps files made from pdfs within Quark file render poorly
When I make pdfs of a 2-page Quark 6.5 file that has the same black and white Illustrator eps file on both pages, the eps looks fine on one page, but the exact same file on the other page is broken up and incomplete. I have Acrobat 6.02 Professional and Acrobat 7 Professional. When I open the pdf in 7 the eps files look fine, but in 6 look bad. My clients have 6 so they see only the bad files. I've tried changing pdf types from within Distiller in Acrobat 6 to various types of pdfs, but that hasn't changed anything. The eps files are of simple black and white type converted to outline. I'm using a Quicksilver 867 with over 1000RAM.
