Default EPS not showing clipping paths

I am importing a CMYK photoshop image (doesn't matter if it's RGB or CMYK) with
a clipping path. It displays as whatever I drew the path around with a black
box behind. Earilier versions of Freehand didn't have a problem with this.
    Suggestions?

    What version of FreeHand?

Are you using Mac or PC?

    What is the OS version?

Are you importing a TIFF or a PSD file, or an EPS?

Are there any alpha channels in the imported file?

Clipping path support in FreeHand is *very* error prone, and for most
reliable performance, I don't personally recommend PSD imports. If
you're on PC, see this link:

I just posted a similar question on this forum because I get a white box behind
the image. Here are my answers to your questions ellipsis, maybe you can help?

Clipping path created in Photoshop 7 on PC, saved as CMYK tiff file. I did not
specifically add an alpha channel as I understood this would be done
    automatically on saveing the file.

The image is imported into Freehand MX (.fh11) running on Mac OSX 10.3.4.
Everything in the image that should be transparent shows up white on the screen.

I am using a PC, this is a true EPS file. No alpha channels. Thanks!
