Default Error Message

When creating a pdf in Quark 6.5 via the print dialogue box to create a postscript and then using distiller to create the pdf, I get an error message 'Aray length out of range' when I open the pdf in Acrobat 7.0.8. This happens on 5 machines, on the sixth, which has 6.0.4, it doesn't. The settings on all six machines seem to be the same (10.4.6).

It is your screen saver. Right click on your desktop, select "Properties" then
select the screen saver tab.
Click "Preview" you should see the error window "Cannot find the Macromedia
Flash". You select a different screen saver or try to download a new update
for the one you were using.
That should fix your problem.

I am getting an error message when using Contribute. it goes as follows:---

While executing DWmenu_Edit_Cut in ccmenus.xml, the following JavaScript error
occured: Type error: mm.event has no properties.

I am also getting error messages while trying to cut and paste in Contribute
but this function works in other applications. I had called technical support
about this and they said they do no longer support Contribute 3 and that I
should visit the website for troubleshooting tips which I did. I could not find
the problem there.

If this doesn't help, try to uninstall Contribute 3, and manually remove all
Contribute references before reinstalling the software.

1. Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.

2. Then delete these files, this is from the TechNote
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=4e7826b7

Contribute-specific files:
C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Contribute 3
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Macromedia\Contribute 3
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Macromedia\Contribute 3
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Macromedia\Licensing\Licenses\Contribute 3.0
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Macromedia\Licensing\Products\Contribute 3.0
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Installations\Macromedia Contribute 3.11
C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch\CONTRIBUTE.EXE-0AE0E871.pf

3. If you are comfortable with the Windows Registry, remove these two
references.

To get to the Windows Registry go to Start > Run and type in regedit

Contribute:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Contribute 3
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Macromedia\Contribute\ 3

4. Then reboot your computer, and then reinstall Contribute 3. If your issue
still persists try filing a bug request
