wrong. I have open port 1723 on my Dlink wireless router.
I have DI-624. On my windox xp professional computer
which is the host computer has setup to listen to
incoming vpn protocols. I have also port forward it to
the right computer. I have made the host computer static
ip through DHCP. I do not know where i went wrong in
making a remote connection. Can someone please help me
out????

Default Re: Error message for remote connection

you may need to open ip protocol 47 quoted from
http://www25.brinkster.com/ChicagoTech
Error 721: Remote PPP peer or computer is not responding. If you have tried
many thing other people suggest like rebooting, reloading hardware and
re-installing the VPN or dial in connection, you still get the same problem.
I will suggest to check the router settings and make sure TCP Port 1723, IP
Protocol 47 (GRE) are opened.
