Error Msg in Batch Process
FWMX on XPHome:
I'm trying to use the Fireworks batch process to scale directories full of
jpeg and/or gif images. I made a script out of the set of commands (Scale
and then leave the scaled images in the same folder as the originals), and I
now run the script.
At the end of every batch process, I get an error msg box that says:
"Could not run the script. An internal error occurred."
But it seems that the script DOES run ... I watch it do the countdown as it
processes the images, and when I look in the folder afterwards, the proper
number of images are there and they have been scaled as requested.
So, what's up w/ the error msg -- I'd like to eliminate the needless anxiety
this error popup is causing and just get on with the work -- as it is now, I
feel obliged to double-check the results each time, and it's wasting time.
Thanks,
GLMoore

Re: Error Msg in Batch Process
Is the script small enough to attach? Couldn't even begin to guess without
looking at it.
Cheers,
Sam

Re: Error Msg in Batch Process
OK, figured out the new error msg -- someone who has worked on this project
has apparently taken .bmp files and just renamed them with JPG extensions
.... so that bit's been taken care of.
The other script error would still be nice to figure out.
Thanks if you can help,
GLMoore

Got it, Sam -- 23k. What's the best way to communicate it to you? Attach
to email or copy the contents of it into a post here?
