Error opening document: Temporary file could not be created
Hello all,
I am getting this error for quite few days. I had Adobe reader 6.0, because of this problem , I uninstalled and installed Adobe reader 5.0. but the problem still persists.
I have full permisions on my hard disk and the hard disk is also not full.
Please help!!!

Try solution 2 in this document. Before you try it make sure you have set View Hidden Files in Windows Explorer:

Just because your hard disk is not full does not mean that there is room in your temporary folder for another file. There are limits to how many files can exist in a particular folder.
An easier way to get to the temp folder for solution #2 of the document Ian linked to:
* Click Start > Run, type "%temp%" and click OK.
Delete all the files in the folder that opens, and you should be able to launch Reader.
