Error: Page is being edited on another machine

I have a client that I bought and downloaded Adobe Contribue on their machine
to edit their website.

She keeps calling saying that sometimes when she tries to edit the homepage,
that an error comes up and says that it cannot edit the page, that; the page is
being edited on another machine.

We know that isn't the case, as that particular computer is the only computer
that has the software installed. I designed the site and I haven't been to the
site in months, and when I do, I only access it through Dreamweaver.

She says this sometimes occurs on other pages of the site but mainly the
homepage.

Any suggestions?

Please check any lock file is created for the HomePage (.LCK file). If the file
is checked out through Dreamweaver and didn't checked in, then the lock file
will be present in the server. Then this error message will come.

I support a large group of Contribute users who get the same error. No know
reason why, BUT there is a fix.

Have the server admin delete the locked (filename.lck) file from the server.
That has always seemed to work.
