Even Print Borders
Is there any way to get all four borders of the same dimension in printing a file in PS 5.5?
When printing on 8 1/2 X 11 inch paper I set my image size to slightly less, say, 8.25 X 10.50 inches. I get three even borders and one larger one. How do I get all four borders the same?
Thanks.

many printers have an auto center choice you can check.

Re: Even Print Borders
Unless you do full bleed, the bottom border of most printers is larger than the other three. You may be able to adjust the image to compensate.
Even if your printer automatically centers, you may still have to do a little trimming to get the borders exact. They seldom quite looked right with conventional photography, either--often had to fuss with borders.

Re: Even Print Borders
Your printer has a defined printable area, which usually has a larger bottom
border, to allow the printers gripping mechanism to work without
compromising the image quality. Your printer reference information will
tell you how big this border needs to be, and you use that for all four
sides, when calculating the image size, and, as mentioned, set the printer
driver to center the image.
