Default Event view in windows server 2000

I tried to find the windows 2000 server section, but
obviously it is being made obsolete.

I am running windows 2000 server and when I check the
event viewer, and look under the application log, I see a
blank screen. I know there are events in the log, as I
can see a count at the top of the page, but for some
    reason, the screen is blank.

I can even select lines on the screen, but they are
blank, and when looking at the properties of these blank
lines, all I get is a blank property page.

    Can anyone assist me?

    regards,

    >Hi Sync,
Thanks for your reply. I checked, and I do not have
filters enabled. In the view menu, I have all records
selected. I have checked the settings with another
server, and the settings are identical on the server
where the event viewer works properly.
