Events
Are there any examples anywhere of a custom webcontrol (written in VB) that
implements multiple events?
I've written an entire framework of controls and lots of common functions
and classes for reuse and I do not want to have to re-write it in C# this
far along (thousands of lines) just so I can use the "optimized"
eventhandler feature of C# that isn't supported in VB (according to
"Developing MS Server Controls and Components" MSPress).
So far, every example I've seen that uses multiple events is in C# and I am
thus far unable to make my controls identify the various events unquely as
required.
Also, how can I prevent from having a postback generated if there is not
event being consumed in the page?
Thanks,
Shawn

events
I'm writing custom server control where I use two buttons. This control has
event which I called UpdateFields.
I would like to raise this event after clicking one of two buttons. In
control code I have something like that:
....
Button btnUpdate = new Button();
btnUpdate.Id = "btnUpdate";
btnUpdate.Text = "Update";
btnUpdate.Click += new EventHandler(btnUpdate_Click);
....
when I click Update button it does not get into btnUpdate_Click method
What am I doing wrong?

Events
Okay so if I have a the following components
Application
----------------Panel
---------------Button
If BOTH my panel AND my button has an event handler
addEventListener(Event.click, somehandler) and I click button, should I use
currentTarget or target, and why? am I right in thinking currentTarget will end
up with a value of panel and not button, since it will stop propagation?do both
listeners get executed(if they say had different handlers)?
I read the flex F1 help screens and they explained it but I'm still a litte
unsure, any actionscript gurus that can clear it up for me, I would be most
greatful.

Re: Events
for example you have listener myButtonListiner, and you register it with
component Button as click event handlers.and also you have another listner
myPanelListener that you regiter with Panel as click event handlers as well.
