Executing remote command 'rcmd on UW711 - SCO

I am wanting to execute command 'rcmd' on Unixware7.1.1 to initiate a remote command on another system. However the UW711 system gives me the error message: UX:sh: ERROR : rcmd: Not found. The UW man pages hold information about 'rcmd' and there is a directory /usr/lib/scoadmin/rcmd. However no 'rcmd' is found. I have tried this with UW711 systems with the uw711m3 maintenance pack and the set71101 patch set. I copied a rcmd executable from OSR505 into the /OpenServer/bin directory in UW711 but that (as expected) didnt work. Does anyone know where I could source a rcmd executable that will run ...

Default Executing remote command 'rcmd on UW711

I am wanting to execute command 'rcmd' on Unixware7.1.1 to initiate a remote
command on another system. However the UW711 system gives me the error
    message:

UX:sh: ERROR : rcmd: Not found.

The UW man pages hold information about 'rcmd' and there is a directory
/usr/lib/scoadmin/rcmd. However no 'rcmd' is found.

I have tried this with UW711 systems with the uw711m3 maintenance pack and
    the set71101 patch set.

I copied a rcmd executable from OSR505 into the /OpenServer/bin directory in
UW711 but that (as expected) didnt work.

Does anyone know where I could source a rcmd executable that will run in
UW711? Is there an alternative to 'rcmd' to execute remote commands from
    UW711?

    TIA

    Dave

Just for the record, the UW7 doc is not wrong. The man page
you found for "rcmd" was a section 3N page for the rcmd()
networking API function call. And the references in that man
page do point to commands such as rsh and rlogin.
