Expandable Ad
I am trying to create a flash ad that is 160x600 and when the user mouses over
the ad (or clicks), it slides out - expanding to show more information.
Everything I can find on it says to download the Flash Ad Kit or the Dart Motif
kit. I am using Flash Professional 8, and these all seem to be designed for MX.
Is there a way to do this without either of those kits? Does anyone have a
sample fla that would help illustrate the correct way to do this?
Thanks!

Re: Expandable Ad
You can certainly use Motif for Flash 8. Make sure you also download the
http://www.dartmotif.com/downloads/downloads_templates.asp for that size and
the http://www.dartmotif.com/downloadfile.asp?filename=authoring_guide.pdf
They are both very helpful.

Re: Expandable Ad
Ok, so I've downloaded everything I can from DART, and I built my ad. Problem:
when the .swf is uploaded to the live website, it doesn't work properly. The
entire ad is viewable (even though there is no content in the part that's
supposed to be expandable). When you click on it, it does show the expandable
portion, however the entire time, the Collapsed portion is off the side of the
page. I'm not sure how to correct this problem.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Re: Expandable Ad
Are you putting this on a site that you are in control of? You don't need to
use Motif, if that's the case. I thought you might be using it because of it's
tracking methods. In any case, do a search on the forum and google WMODE. Keep
in mind that setting your banner up this way is not recommended by some since
it can be buggy across various browsers.
