    Default Expanding dashed line

I have a dashed line that I'd like to bring into Photoshop as a shape layer. Copying and pasting brings the line in solid, as does "expand" in Illustrator. I know I've seen a trick for this -- anyone know it? Thanks!

I think you're looking for Object>Flatten Transparency (then check the box which says "convert all strokes to outlines"
