EXportation and french caracters

When i export some records where I have french caracters in a field like "É
é à À" , these caracters are replace by " � , . A"

Is it because I use an english version of FM 5.5 ?


Note : I export to a ".csv" file format.

Can we have an English translation please?

Babel Fish Translation give: "that much more report/ratio with a
problem of system badly installed but not really with FM him even."

the guy is french so ..

but I said that there were no reasons that Filemaker is the problem.
I guess it's more related to its own OS system.
Anyway I don't have any problem with accents fr or english Fm versions.
